Chlorophyll-free form of Epipactis albensis has been found in the Skarpa Storczyków nature reserve near Orsk. This is the first record of albino plants of this species in Poland.
This paper presents fifteen new localities of Orthotontium lineare found in the south-western Poland in the years 20022005. Current distribution and habitat preferences of O. lineare within this area are briefly described.
Park Szczytnicki is the biggest park in Wrocław city, and one of the largest in Europe. On this area, 35 species of lichens and 1 of lichenicolous fungus (Lichenoconium lecanorae) have been found. Same of recorded lichen species, e.g. Bryoria fuscescens and Usnea hirta are rare and endangered in Poland, particularly in the cities.
The paper contains results of a pollen analysis of sediments in the peatbog Izerskie Bagno (Izerskie Mts.). On the basis of palynological data, the succession of the peat-bog vegetation as well as the age of sediments have been determined. Only the Atlantic and Subboreal periods were distinguished in the profile. Absence of the Subatlantic layers and no human activity were detected.

A new locality of Salvia glutinosa has been found in Kaczawskie foothills, in the north-western part of Grodziec village. The population consisted of 20 specimens. Most of the plants bloomed. This locality is probably anthropogenic.
